Hershey’s Chocolate World Sensory-Friendly Event
We had an absolute blast at Hershey’s Chocolate World Sensory-Friendly Night! From the moment families arrived, the energy was full of excitement, laughter, and chocolatey fun.
Some of our favorite highlights included the Love2BEEFit cardio drums, which had kids moving, grooving, and burning off some energy in the best way possible. The Chocolate Tour and Make Your Own Candy Bar was a hit for kids and adults alike, giving everyone a behind-the-scenes look at how those delicious treats come to life. And of course, we loved seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces thanks to the incredible Susquehanna Service Dogs, who were there to support and comfort families throughout the night.
Most importantly, we had the chance to connect with so many wonderful families. We were thrilled by the amazing turnout of applicants for our Fun Fund grants, and with so many wonderful families to choose from, we selected seven families to join us for this special night. It was a joy to meet each of them and see the excitement on their faces as they explored, played, and connected. We hope all of our grant recipients had an unforgettable experience, creating memories that will last long after the lights dimmed and the chocolate wrappers were gone.
Events like these are at the heart of what we do, opening doors to new experiences, removing barriers, and helping children and families feel included, supported, and celebrated. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to bring even more joy and connection to families in our community!
